Rodrigo Condeza
Rodrigo is a guide, photographer and founder of Miralejos. In one way or another, he has always been in contact with nature and during his time as a university student he developed a deep respect and love for nature which has lead him to travel and do several courses with the aim of preparing himself to develop outdoor activities professionally. He has done a mountain guide course at the Escuela Nacional de montaña (ENAM), a semester course in Patagonia by NOLS, First Aid Certificate by Wilderness Medicine Institute, Avalanche Safety Course in New Zealand and he knows about the Chilean flora and fauna. All this preparation has allowed him to climb mountains in Chile, Bolivia and New Zealand and do several trekking and exploration trips by land and sea. His trips have given him the chance to see the colorful and dry desert in the north, to climb the main mountains in the Central Andes, walk in the exuberant vegetation of the cold rain forest in the south of Chile and sail through fiords and glaciers in the Chilean Patagonia.
“My hear feels full of joy when I am working or traveling in wild nature, this is what I like to do, this is what gets me up every day. All the effort and dedication are rewarded by a ray of sun, the flight of a bird or the smile of the traveler…. We are nature…!”
